On Monday morning, I went to my routine second trimester Ob/Gyn appointment and found out that my 17 week old unborn son's, Alex's heart had inexplicably stopped beating. My husband and I are crushed, of course, but God's presence is obvious to me in this chain of events. I had never heard that Islamic belief before and have taken, and will continue to take, great comfort in it.
