Anita and I rarely went a day when we did not see each other. I’m not sure how other couples do it – sometimes I felt like everyone did it like us and other times I felt like we were completely unique (weird). I’m not sure who this was meant for – maybe for a book, maybe just herself. Sometimes we foolishly thought that working from home would bring less worries – but it didn’t, just different worries. We were having one of our [...] This is a fantastic email with an attached essay that Anita wrote in 2006. It was during the time when she was exploring being a writer and it’s picture is beautifully painted by Anita. (She even put a copyright on it – what a lawyer!) From her friend Caroline: I was reminded of this email that Anita [...] This one is a little different. Anita had been struggling for a couple of years with doing a web site (she couldn’t quiet find the right look, she wanted it to have a lot of useful content) and a direct mail newsletter (that she never quite found the time to create a mailing list for). [...] On a sheet of paper taped to the wall of our bedroom (formerly Anita’s office) says, “Work is an Act of Worship.” I used to be afriad that Anita was a workaholic. She was the hardest working person I ever met. In law school, she studied endlessly. At her firms, she was gone long hours.
