Daily Affirmations – 2/1/07
1. Today is all you have. Be grateful for today.
(Is your mortgage paid? Is there food in the refrigerator? Do you have clothes to wear? Is everyone healthy and happy? If not, do you have health insurance to cover any problems that may occur? Then be grateful for what you’ve got.)
This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24
2. Pray for guidance in the task of making a plan for your future. Your plan should align your life with your values.
In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps. Psalm 16:9
3. Surrender your plan – and yourself – to God.
Submit yourselves, then, to God. James 4:7
4. Each and every day, take steps to execute the plan.
Be strong . . . and work. For I am with you. Haggai 2:4
5. Fear not.
Be strong and very courageous. Joshua 1:7
6. Have faith – no matter whether the (worldly) results are good, bad, or neutral – God is with you.
For I know the plans I have for you . . . plans to proper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
