She made this list of things she wanted to do and then some things she thought unique about herself.

February 3, 2009 Delighted in the Lord – Desires of your heart How to be delighted in the Lord? Remember, it’s all about Him, not about us Must be willing to commit my life to Him [...] I feel like today is a lost day. That term just came into my mind. “Lost Day” It’s how I describe a day where nothing is really planned, and I don’t really end up doing anything. Let me rephrase. Although I enjoy relaxing days and nothing days, I do not enjoy days where I feel there are [...] Today I was reminded how inspired and full of God’s love I feel when I sift through old boxes of Anita’s papers. For my accountant today I dug into a box of old bill stubs, or so I thought. Half way down I realized it was another box of Anita’s to-do lists, brainstorms and inspirational [...] I found this in the back of our coat closet. It is a collage of magazine images and words (heavy on words – this is Anita we are talking about) that Anita made around January 2007. The directions were to cerate a college filled with images and phrases of things that are important to you [...] I found this free floating note card in a box of papers and things. Anita has written on it in black Sharpie: Fear not the future; This one was something of a mystery to me – not what it meant but what it meant to Anita and in what context. A Google search [...] Inside the front cover of Anita’s book Secrets in the Dark by Frederick Buechner, she wrote some notes. This one jumped out at me this morning: 11/27/06 You have only one decision to make: to follow God or not. If you choose to follow God, you cannot fail. Your life is your ministry. It’s no secret and no [...] The most common weakness of all human beings is the habit of leaving their minds open to the negative influence of other people Going through a stack of note cards, this one jumped out at me. I’m sure she was reading this to reinforce her lessons on acceptance. However, it is from an article about overcoming grief – link at the bottom.
